The answer is optimization. In a typical air cooled application impeller air flow is used to cool medias flowing through banks of heat exchangers. As in many cases, there is only a single air source, the design of a heat exchanger effects the other in the heat exchanger bank.

A Typical example is a radiator cum oil cooler or radiator, oil cooler cum after cooler/charge air cooler package. As the air flow has to take away heat from the radiator, oil cooler and after cooler/charge air cooler. All three of them have to be designed optimally to make the most efficient package. Naturally any over designing on any of the products; radiators, air coolers or after coolers will adversely affect the performance of the other.

The impeller is a central part of any air cooled heat exchanger. To ensure that the best performance is achieved and the power consumption and noise levels are as low as possible it is of utmost importance that the right impeller is chosen.

Understanding the need for an efficient impeller, we have tied up with Multi-Wing International a. s manufacturers of high efficiency aerofoil axial impeller.

The number of variables affecting the design keep increasing, making design complicated. The answer is to design for optimization. Over the years we have been able to develop this expertise and have solved hundreds of such tricky problems.
